Benefits of a Service Plan
A service plan covers regular services for your vehicle. This includes the cost of related parts (like spark plugs), consumables (like oil) and labour. Most service plans cover both minor and major services that are conducted at industry-approved and reputable workshops. Premiums plans also have extra benefits like covering wear-and-tear components such as brake pads.
Most new vehicles come with free service plans but once this cover expires, the cost of regular services falls on the vehicle owner. A service plan protects you against the costs of regularly servicing your vehicle to maintain it in optimal condition.
Your vehicle warranty and even car insurance policy requires you to regularly service your vehicle for cover to remain valid.
